Artwork Supply Guide
You may be a design ninja but please take time to read the below to make sure you are sending the artwork how we require it.
Failure to do so could cause your file to be rejected and your turnaround time reset.
RESOLUTION
File resolution should be at least 150dpi for Large format jobs (ie. banner stands, banners, foamex printing & posters) at full size or 300dpi for small format jobs (ie. business cards, letterheads, folders & leaflets/flyers.)
ARTWORK DIMENSIONS
Size of artwork should ideally be supplied 1:1, however should you need to design at a different ratio please alter your resolution accoringly (See details below). Small format should always be supplied at 1:1 size.
Artwork Size (Large format print) 1:1 - Actual Size @ 150dpi | 1:2 Half Size @ 300dpi | 1:4 Quarter Size @ 600dpi
Small format should always be supplied at 1:1 actual size.
BLEED SETTINGS
There are only 2 different sizes of bleed for all of our products. Large format + 5mm bleed all round | Small format +3mm bleed all round
FILE UPLOAD
Artwork File Upload - there are 2 options available for supplying your print ready artwork files, options are:
Option 1: Upload your files on the actual product page.
Option 2: Upload your files after placing the order via your admin panel. Just Login, Click "View Order" on the relevent order and then you can upload your files to each line item of the order.
CUSTOM CONTOUR CUTTING
Custom Contour Cutting is available on certain products, the cutting information needs to be a vectored outline. This outline needs to be a Spot Colour called CutContour on a seperate layer. File format needs to be either .AI, PDF or EPS.
WHITE INK PRINTING
White Ink Printing is also available on certain products for this the area that needs to be printed white should be generated using a Spot Colour called White_Ink and should also be set to overprint.
FILE CHECKING
Unless you select our File Check Safety Net - WE DO NOT CHECK YOUR FILES. Your job will go through our automated system and will only be rejected if we are unable to print your file. We will not carry out any of our preflight and quality checks on your document as these will already have been carried out by yourself prior to submitting the file.
