Correx® board printing

Correx® sets itself apart from other direct-to-board printing materials because it is extremely lightweight, quick to fix into place, and maintains print quality regardless of whether it is displayed inside or outside. It is also scratch resistant which makes it ideal for construction sites. Per our product configurator above, we have a selection of Correx® board thicknesses – including 4mm, 6mm and 10mm; all of which can be easily cut to your size and space specifications.

What is Correx board?
Correx is the brand name for fluted polypropylene plastic. It features two flat sheets of plastic separated by vertical "flutes" (ribs), similar to corrugated cardboard but made of durable, waterproof plastic. This design makes it exceptionally lightweight yet rigid enough to withstand outdoor wind and rain.
What thicknesses are available for Correx printing?
We offer two industry-standard thicknesses: 4mm Correx: The most popular choice for estate agent boards, "For Sale" signs, and temporary event directionals. 6mm Correx: A heavy-duty option providing extra rigidity for larger signs or construction site hoarding where increased impact resistance is needed.
How long do Correx signs last outdoors?
Correx is designed for short-to-medium-term outdoor use. While the material itself is 100% waterproof and the UV-stable inks we use will resist fading for years, the lightweight nature of the board means it is best suited for campaigns lasting 6 to 12 months. For permanent outdoor signage (3+ years), we recommend Dibond (Aluminum Composite).
